Gym In Schools also offers an afternoon or lunch time gymnastics program as part of the school’s extra-curricular activities. Our extra curriculum class focuses on the proper techniques and forms of gymnastics skills. Our staff concentrates on building confidence while teaching the basic gymnastics skills. The program teaches the proper progressions to stimulate flexibility and strength. Skills learned in this program include:

-Handstands, cartwheels and round offs
-Pull-over on bars and cast
-Run and punch jump on vault, handstand flatback
-Releve walk and specific jumps on beam

The classes can run for 45 minutes-1.5 hours and cater for levels of abilities.

Gym In Schools can also offer a competitive program which students can learn the NSW gymnastics routines so they are able to compete in any school gymnastics competitions. We can also run in-house school competitions.

Students can be taught a gymnastics display so they can demonstrate what they have learnt throughout the year. The gymnasts love to perform for other students, teachers and especially their parents.
